Score Templates are prepared to record scores and other ratings. One of the tricks of the scoring an individual is to create Score templates which are designed once and can be instantiated for multiple users. This creates uniformity and also allows you to take a higher level view beyond just one individual.
There are different ways how enterprises use scoring Criteria. Many enterprises have one Score template per role; for example a “Customer Service Representative Score Template” has a different scoring criteria than a “Shift Leader Score Template”.
Many enterprises have one Score template per role per maturity level; for example “Sr. Software Developer”, “Software Developer”, etc.
Although it is tempting to reuse appraisal score templates from previous year, we highly encourage that you review the entire appraisal process itself every year, and improve the score templates so that they are best aligned to your business objectives.
