You may already be using a case/task management tool, such as Bugzilla, FogBugz, Basecamp, DefectTracker, Jira, etc. With BizMerlin, when you enter a timecard, you can conveniently include the external information about the case or task and a hyperlink to your external tool.
You can configure your profile to include your Case/Task Management tool, and also include a parametrized URL. This will allow you to simply input a case #, and BizMerlin will try to generate the actual URL (so, less copy/pasting for you). You can always override BizMerlin’s URL recommendation with your own details.
