Different Types of Visualizations in Reports
Once the report design is ready, different types of visualizations can be used which are as follow:
Use the Tabular chart when the user wants to see all the results of the Email, Job title, and EmpID corresponding to the particular username. The user can create the report in tabular form with any number of columns.
Use the pie chart to see the breakdown of the selected column. For example to see the breakdown of different statuses that can be assigned to the user. The user needs to select one column and on the basis of that pie chart gets created.
The user needs to select one column and the corresponding bar chart will get created. Levels are plotted on one chart axis, and values are plotted on the other axis.
In the summary visualization shows the total count for the selected column of the report. This can be used when a person needs a quick overview of the data.
Stacked Column Bar
The user must choose 2 string columns for the stacked column bar. A stacked column bar can be used when the user wants to show the data with the coverage of each parameter in a single time period.
The user can create a report with download visualization. This is suitable for extensive reports and can have any number of columns.
The user needs to choose 2 string columns. Dial chart can be used when users want to depict how far is your current value from the maximum value.
The user needs to add two string columns. Visualization drill-downs allow users to create hierarchies in visualizations so that users can click on a component of a chart and “drill in” to explore the data within that visualization piece.
The user must select one string and two integer columns to create the scatter chart. The Scatter chart will give you the relationship between the two numeric values.
For the bubble chart user needs to add two columns. The bubbles are clustered together in a dense arrangement without any real positional axis.
To create a line chart user needs to add one string column and the rest can be integer columns. For example at point 10 users can see the values of “Goal weightage”, “Initial value”, “Current value” etc of the goal.
The user needs to add one string and other integer columns to create the stacked bar. A stacked bar is used to show comparisons between categories of data, but with the ability to break down and compare parts of a whole.
A pivot table is a statistics tool that summarizes and reorganizes selected columns and rows of data to obtain a desired report. To create the pivot table user need to have three columns from which one should be a string and the other two should be an integer.
A donut chart is the variation of a pie chart except it has a round hole in the center which makes it look like a donut. Donut charts are good to use when comparing sets of data. To create a Donut chart we need to add one column.
In the Gaussian graph, we treat each test point as a random variable. Gauss graph is used to visualize the probability of occurring outcomes. The normal distribution curve is bell-shaped, and its center top point is the mean of the base data. To create the Gaussian Chart, we need to add one column with numeric values.
