How to order custom fields

BizMerlinHR allows you to order custom fields to fit your needs.To order custom fields:

  1. Go to top right menu “Set up” and “Click on “Organization Setup” submenu.
  2. Click on “Custom Fields” under Custom Fields Configuration section.
  3. Click on “New Custom Field” button or on any existing custom field you want to give a Section to.
  4. Click to “Advanced Settings”.
  5. In the field “Sequence” write a number for the order in which you want that field to appear.

TIP: We recommend the following strategy for sequencing sections and custom fields. Give different sections’  custom fields a sequence in the hundreds. For instance, check the example provided in table below:
